One of the strangest Black Dahlia items I have ever seen – a “Black Dahlia Voodoo Doll” — has been listed on EBay, complete with a box and a set of spells.
The vendor says:
As far as the history and orgin of the doll I unfortunately hate to admit I can’t tell you. My client was very naive and swindled by the website selling her this doll. They infact told her the doll was over 100 years old which upon inspection I knew immediately was not accurate but more along the lines of no more than 40 years old I would say. I can’t get the doll to disclose her name. After many times attempting I just gave up and figured She will come around and open up in the proper hands. Her original name when my client purchased her was “The Black Dahlia” so I just decided to call her that. She is a rather beautiful doll and it is such a shame she was used in a manner she clearly does not accept. This is a friendly spirit and I can’t imagine her causing harm but rather teaching someone simple spells to deal with life as well as their enemies if they have any.
The item is listed as Buy It Now for $24.99. The vendor notes that the doll is only being sold as a doll – there is no guarantee on the spells and incantations.
